  • Aftercare is available from 4:00–6:00pm for an additional fee.
  • Pick-up after 6:00pm is $1/minute, billed the following day.
  • A counselor is on-site from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
  • Be prompt on field trip days — buses leave on schedule.
  • Only adults listed on the Emergency Contact Form may pick up your child. Photo ID required for the first pick-up.

What to pack each day

  • Refillable water bottle (labeled).
  • Swimsuit, towel, and waterproof bag on water days.
  • Sunscreen already applied + a labeled bottle for re-application.
  • Closed-toe sneakers — no flip-flops on field trip days.
  • Lunch + 2 snacks (we are a nut-free camp).

What NOT to bring

  • Phones, tablets, or smartwatches with calling features.
  • Money, jewelry, or trading cards.
  • Anything that looks like a weapon, even a toy.

Health, illness & medication

  • Please keep your child home for 24 hours after a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea.
  • All medication must be in original packaging with written instructions, handed to a counselor at drop-off.
  • Allergies and conditions must be listed on the Emergency Contact Form.

Behavior & belonging

  • We follow a 3-step approach: gentle reminder → reset with a counselor → call home.
  • Bullying, physical aggression, or hate speech results in immediate pick-up.
  • See our Camp Rules page for the full list.

Communication

  • Daily photo recap is posted to our private parent group by 6pm.
  • Counselors are reachable by text 7:30am–6pm. After hours, email hello@skyssummercamp.com.
  • End-of-week reports are sent every Friday.
  • Camp is fully insured.

Field trips

  • Field trips (Zoo, Aquarium, Baltimore adventures) require a signed Permission Slip.
  • Campers ride in a passenger van with a licensed driver.
  • Field trip days have an 8:00am sharp arrival.
